MFT Sketch Challenge 368

Hi there! Popping in to show my card for the MFT Sketch Challenge 368. 


This card was a true labor of love. It’s my Galentines card for my sister. She’s not one for traditional hearts, flowers, etc. But she loves bright and happy colors!

I used my tried and true MFT Hugs die to send some hugs across the miles to NY!

Hi there! If all of a sudden this post just stops mid sentence it is because my computer died.  Its almost there man!  Any day now... I am here today with this card I made last night... Here is is from another angle... I am really loving this card. At first, I was making it for the  Simon Say Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog .  Which I still am.  But as I am painting this card, I realized that the inspiration behind this card is actually from the  CAS-ual Fridays CAS01 May Challenge .  Actually their first encouragement  challenge.  This card is what I see in the picture from that challenge. Lawn Fawnatics and A Blog Named Hero Challenges

Hey everyone.  Well, I am very lucky as my October Monthly Hero Arts kit came just in time!  I wanted to use the dies on a tag I was making for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge.  I kept it un-assembled until I received my package yesterday.   This tag is being entered into the  Lawnfawnatics Challenge 14 : Happy Critters  and the  A Blog Named Hero - Calling all Critters .  The Blog Named Hero Challenge is using both Hero Arts and Lawn Fawn products.  I expect to enter more as the October kit and Lawn Fawn play very nicely together! I used Toboggan together set and colored it with Spectrum Noir pens.  I made the background out of the mountain range die from the October HA kit.  I used Bristol Smooth paper and first inked it with DO Iced Spruce and Salty Ocean.  I cut it then used the mountain range stamp with white pigment HA ink to stamp some detail.  I also inked the edges of the range with the ink.  I...

Casology Week 247: Flow

Hey there, Stefanie here...back for some more challenge cards.  I was lucky enough to craft all day and I have a ton of cards to share.  I think I will just do a few more today, then update the blog more tomorrow.   I am trying to grow as a card designer and my favorite challenge that pulls me OUT of my comfort zone is the CASology challenge.    Here is my entry for the CASology Week 247 Challenge - keyword is Flow.   This may be one of the favorite cards I have made this weekend.  Here are the details: I started using the ink cubes I got with my Hero Arts May kit, Deep Blue and Aqua.  I blended them onto a piece of 110 lb white paper.  I seriously love this ink.  I am really excited to actually stamp with it, but today I just blended it.  I saw a video from Jennifer McGuire a few days ago in which she said that Hero Arts inks have a special quality.  You can put Versamark on them and ...
